ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT — LIBERTY EDUCATION GROUP LLC
Version 2026-09-v3 · U.S. edition · Sections II–V and the Country Annex
II. The school year and the family's obligations
1. Responsibilities of the Signer
1.1. The Signer assumes full responsibility for the student's education and for providing a sequential program of instruction, with the curricula, classes or resources appropriate to the program type. This responsibility does not exclude or diminish the plan of study that Liberty organizes under clause 9, which is what the student works through on the platform.
1.2. The Signer is responsible for complying with the home-education and compulsory-attendance requirements of the state in which the family resides, including any notice of intent, assessment, portfolio, immunization record or report that state requires. Liberty is a private educational program based in Wyoming: it does not file, notify, submit or report to the Signer's state or school district on the Signer's behalf, and does not act as the school of record for purposes of any state's home-education statute.
1.3. Where the law of the family's residence so requires, the Signer will carry out and verify the student's withdrawal from any prior school after completing enrollment at LHA. Enrolling at LHA does not withdraw a student from another school, and Liberty does not perform that step or answer for its timing or outcome.
1.4. The Signer will keep contact and billing information current in the portal, add info@libertyhomeschoolacademy.org to their contacts, and read the messages Liberty sends. A notice sent to the last registered address is deemed validly given.
1.5. The Signer will keep their own records and samples of the student's work for at least two (2) years. This obligation belongs to the Signer and does not replace the record Liberty maintains.
1.6. The Signer will see that a high school student progresses on a plan that leads to meeting the graduation requirements.
2. Calendar and school year
2.1. LHA operates two academic calendars, and the student is enrolled in the one shown in Section I:
| Calendar | School year | First report | Second report |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alpha | August to June | January 15 | June 15 |
| Omega | February to November | July 15 | December 15 |
2.2. Every reference to the «school year» in this agreement means the student's calendar, not a calendar year. The calendar may be changed only at re-enrollment.
2.3. Enrollment is renewed each school year. Renewal is not automatic: it requires the Signer to request it and to sign this agreement again.
3. Days of instruction
3.1. The LHA program requires the student to receive at least 172 days of instruction per school year. This is a requirement of the program itself, adopted as a measure of academic load; it is not a legal requirement of the student's place of residence, whose rules the Signer meets under their own responsibility pursuant to clauses 1.1 and 1.2.
3.2. Recording those days is the Signer's responsibility, except in the program types where the platform tracks them automatically.
4. Grade reports
4.1. The Signer will submit two semester reports per year, on the dates that correspond to their calendar under the table in clause 2.1.
4.2. If a report is not submitted on the agreed date, Liberty will notify the Signer by email and allow fifteen (15) calendar days to submit it. If that period passes with no report and no reasonable explanation, Liberty may suspend the enrollment under clause 13.
4.3. A missing report does not erase work already recorded or the student's file, but it does prevent Liberty from certifying the year, awarding credit or issuing credentials for that period, because there is no academic evidence to support them.
III. Financial terms
5. Tuition and fees
5.1. Annual family tuition: US$ 50.00 PER FAMILY, regardless of how many students are enrolled. It is paid at enrollment, covers the full school year, and is not multiplied per child.
5.2. One-time registration fee: US$ 20.00, charged once to families new to LHA. A family that re-enrolls in a later year does not pay it again.
5.3. High school fee: US$ 20.00 per year for each student enrolled in grades 9 through 12. It is added to the family tuition in clause 5.1; it is not a separate plan and does not replace it.
| Item | Amount | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Family tuition | US$ 50.00 | Each school year, once per family |
| Registration fee | US$ 20.00 | Once, families new to LHA |
| High school fee | US$ 20.00 | Each school year, per student in grades 9–12 |
| Diploma | Billed at graduation | Once, only in the diploma track |
| Example — family with one high school student | US$ 70.00 per year | US$ 90.00 the first year, with registration |
5.4. The diploma is not included in the amounts above and is billed separately at graduation, at the rate published at that time. A student in the records-only track under clause 10.1 is not charged for a diploma because none is issued.
5.5. Currency. All amounts in this agreement are stated and charged in UNITED STATES DOLLARS. There is no currency conversion for families residing in the United States.
5.6. Amounts for a school year are fixed at enrollment and do not change during that year. A price adjustment may apply only to the following year and is communicated under clause 12.
5.7. Any fee charged by the payment method the Signer chooses is theirs to pay and is shown before the transaction is confirmed.
6. Billing and payment methods
6.1. For families residing in the United States, Liberty invoices and collects directly. The invoice is issued in the name of the Signer or of whoever the Signer designates as billing contact.
6.2. Payment is made through the methods enabled in the portal: card through the ROKI gateway, or bank transfer. Only what is recorded in the system counts as paid; a receipt handed to a person who is not authorized does not discharge the Signer.
6.3. Scientia Et Libertas International S. de R.L. does not invoice, collect from or contract with families residing in the United States.
7. Late payment
7.1. If an amount falls due unpaid, Liberty will notify the Signer by email stating the amount owed and the deadline, and will allow ten (10) calendar days to bring the account current.
7.2. If that period passes with no payment and no written payment arrangement, Liberty may suspend the student's access to the platform and to live classes until the account is brought current. Suspension is notified the same day it is applied.
7.3. Suspension for non-payment does not erase the academic record or the work already done, and does not extinguish the obligation to pay amounts accrued through the date of suspension.
7.4. While a balance remains outstanding, Liberty may decline to issue letters, transcripts, certifications or diplomas, unless a competent authority orders otherwise. This is temporary and ends upon payment.
7.5. Liberty may authorize exceptions and payment plans case by case. Every exception is recorded in the file with its reason and who authorized it.
8. Withdrawal and refunds
8.1. The Signer may withdraw the student at any time by writing to the institutional email address. The withdrawal takes effect at the close of the month in which the notice is received.
8.2. Tuition and fees are charged annually and are not refundable or pro-rated, whenever the family enrolls or withdraws, because they correspond to enrollment, opening the student's file and enabling the platform — services rendered and used at the time of enrollment.
8.3. If the withdrawal is caused by Liberty —an interruption of service that is not cured, or a material breach— the Signer is entitled to a proportional refund of what was paid for the period not served. Nothing in clause 8.2 limits this.
8.4. Withdrawal does not end Liberty's authority to keep the student's permanent academic record or to verify credentials it has already issued.
IV. Curriculum, credits, policies and term
9. Curriculum: the base Liberty uses
9.1. Curriculum base by country. LHA does not follow a single course of study. For each student, Liberty organizes the grade plan on the official curriculum that corresponds to the student's country of residence, as follows:
| Country of residence | Curriculum base Liberty uses |
|---|---|
| United States of America | Foundation High School Program, Texas Education Agency (TEA), 22 credits |
| Honduras | Currículo Nacional Básico (CNB), Secretaría de Educación de Honduras |
| El Salvador | Currículo Nacional, Ministerio de Educación de El Salvador |
| Guatemala | Currículo Nacional Base (CNB), Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala |
9.2. One base for every state. The United States has no national curriculum; each state sets its own standards. Liberty does not maintain fifty separate plans: it adopts the Foundation High School Program of the State of Texas as the single base of its high school plan for every student residing in any state of the Union. Its credit structure is the one the LHA plan follows: 4 English, 3 Mathematics, 3 Science, 3 Social Studies, 2 Languages Other Than English, 1 Physical Education, 1 Fine Arts and 5 electives, for a total of 22 credits.
9.3. What Liberty organizes, and what the family teaches. Liberty builds and documents the plan —the subjects, their sequence and the credits each one carries—, records the grades the Signer reports under clause 4, reviews the evidence behind them, and awards credit and issues credentials under clause 10. The Signer selects the textbooks, programs and materials the student will use and delivers the instruction, under clause 1.1. Liberty does not supply lesson plans, textbooks or classes to families residing in the United States: the program type available there is homeschool without platform, and the fees in clause 5 do not include instructional content.
9.4. What using Texas as the base does not mean. It does not mean that the State of Texas authorizes, accredits, endorses or supervises Liberty; it does not enroll the student in the Texas public school system; it does not make the student a Texas resident for any purpose; and it does not relieve the Signer of complying with the home education law of their own state under clause 1.1, which is different from the law of Texas.
9.5. Individualized adjustments. A student who works under an individualized plan may have that noted in the file and reflected in the semester reports, on the basis of the documentation the Signer provides. The plan itself is the family's, not Liberty's.
9.6. Records, not accreditation. Organizing the plan and keeping the record does not make Liberty an authorized, registered, accredited or incorporated school within the school system of any state; it does not give official character to the documents Liberty issues; and it does not replace the procedures governed by clause 10 and by the Country Annex.
9.7. An obligation of means. What this clause commits Liberty to is an obligation of means: to organize and document the plan on the base in force at the time it is structured, and to update it when the issuing authority publishes revisions. It is not an obligation of result: Liberty does not commit to any outcome of admission, recognition, validation, equivalency or promotion before any third party, which depends on that party's own judgment under clauses 10.3 and 10.4.
10. High school credits and graduation
10.1. A high school student may be enrolled in the diploma program or in records coverage only. The option chosen is shown in the student's file and determines whether Liberty will issue a diploma at the end.
10.2. Credit earned at another school appears on the LHA transcript only after Liberty has reviewed it, and it is always identified by the school where it was earned. Liberty reviews and approves courses and credits for accuracy and completeness, and retains independent academic judgment to decide the sufficiency of a course, the validity of the evidence presented, the equivalency of credits and the fulfillment of graduation requirements.
10.3. Credit shown on an official transcript from an accredited school is normally accepted at face value. Credit from a school that is not accredited, from a parent-directed home education program, or from a school outside the United States may require a portfolio, a placement examination or a validation period before it is recorded. Credit Liberty does not record does not appear on the LHA transcript and does not count toward the LHA diploma.
10.4. It is the Signer's sole responsibility to verify, with the receiving institution or authority, that the credits and credentials Liberty reports are accepted. Every college, university, employer or agency sets its own requirements, and a negative decision by a third party is not by itself a breach by Liberty and does not give rise to a refund. Where a third party requires validation, apostille, official translation or evaluation by a credential agency, arranging and paying for it is the family's responsibility. Liberty cooperates by providing the documentation it is Liberty's to issue.
11. General policies
11.1. LHA does not require or administer standardized testing.
11.2. LHA does not adhere to any particular worldview or religion. Families of every background are welcome, and no academic or administrative decision is made on the basis of a family's beliefs, origin, nationality or circumstances.
11.3. Liberty may decline to provide or to renew service to anyone who has materially breached this agreement or the program's standards of conduct. A refusal is communicated in writing with its reasons; it may not be arbitrary or discriminatory, and it does not affect the student's right to have the record preserved and credentials already issued remain verifiable.
12. Changes to this agreement
12.1. Liberty may modify this agreement and its policies for future school years. Any modification is notified to the Signer by email at least thirty (30) calendar days before the start of the year in which it will apply.
12.2. Changes do not apply retroactively to the year in progress or to amounts already fixed for it.
12.3. If the Signer does not accept a modification, they may decline to re-enroll with no penalty of any kind; silence followed by re-enrollment is taken as acceptance.
12.4. Correcting typographical errors, contact details or internal cross-references is not a modification and does not require prior notice.
13. Suspension, termination and term
13.1. This agreement runs from signature until the close of the school year shown in Section I.
13.2. Liberty may suspend the enrollment for missing reports (clause 4.2) or for non-payment (clause 7.2), and may terminate it early where the breach continues more than thirty (30) calendar days after suspension, or where a serious cause under clause 11.3 applies. Written notice with reasons is given in every case.
13.3. The Signer may terminate this agreement at any time under clause 8.
13.4. Termination of this agreement, for any reason, does not affect the preservation of the permanent academic record or the verification of credentials already issued.
13.5. If any provision of this agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in full force.
V. Liability, notices and governing law
14. Liability and its limits
14.1. Liberty is responsible for delivering the academic service contracted. Liberty is not responsible for the legal obligations that fall personally on the Signer in their place of residence, including those in clause 1.2.
14.2. The Signer is responsible for direct damages caused to Liberty by false or incomplete information provided, altered documents submitted, or misuse of the platform or of the credentials issued.
14.3. Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Liberty's total liability to the Signer arising out of this agreement will not exceed the amount the family has paid Liberty in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not cover willful misconduct, gross negligence, or damages that the law does not permit to be limited.
14.4. Neither party is liable for a failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control —natural disaster, extended loss of power or internet, civil disturbance, act of authority— for as long as the impediment lasts. If it lasts more than thirty (30) days, either party may terminate the agreement and the proportional refund in clause 8.3 applies.
15. Notices
15.1. Every communication is given in writing to the Signer's email for notices shown in Section I and to the institutional address info@libertyhomeschoolacademy.org.
15.2. The Signer undertakes to keep that email address current. A notice sent to the last registered address is deemed validly given, unless the system returns the delivery as failed, in which case Liberty will attempt a second method before the periods in clauses 4.2, 7.1 and 12.1 begin to run.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
16.1. This agreement and its Country Annex are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the parties submit to the courts of that State — without prejudice to the non-waivable rights the law of the Signer's place of residence affords them.
16.2. Before starting a formal claim, the parties will try in good faith to resolve their differences in writing, within thirty (30) calendar days of the first notice.
16.3. Nothing in this clause deprives the Signer of rights they cannot validly waive under the mandatory law of their place of residence, or prevents them from turning to the consumer protection authorities that law affords them.
17. Language and electronic signature
17.1. Language. This agreement is executed in English for families residing in the United States, and the English text is the one that governs. Liberty may provide a Spanish translation for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy, the English text prevails for these families.
17.2. The Signer agrees that this agreement, its annexes and any other form relating to enrollment may be executed and delivered by electronic means, and that electronic signatures have the same effect as handwritten ones for purposes of validity, enforceability and admissibility.
17.3. Together with the document, the system retains the date of signature, the name typed by the Signer and the image of the signature drawn. The Signer agrees that those records are sufficient evidence of their consent.
Country Annex — United States
• What Liberty is. LIBERTY EDUCATION GROUP LLC is a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming, with its registered office in Sheridan, Wyoming, which operates the academic program Liberty Homeschool Academy. Wyoming law recognizes the home-based educational program and provides, in Wyo. Stat. § 21-4-101(a)(v), that such a program may be taught by the parent or legal guardian or by «a person designated by the parent or legal guardian» — which is the basis on which Liberty supports the family.
• Home education is lawful in all fifty states — under each state's own rules. There is no federal home-education statute. Each state sets its own requirements, and they differ widely: notice of intent, attendance records, annual assessment, portfolio review, subject requirements, immunization records. Meeting the requirements of the state where the family lives is the Signer's responsibility under clause 1.2, and the Signer confirms having understood this before enrolling.
• Liberty is not the school of record for a state's purposes. Liberty does not file notices of intent, does not submit assessments or portfolios, does not report attendance, and does not correspond with a school district or a state department of education on the family's behalf. Some states —among them Alabama, Tennessee and Florida— give a special status to umbrella or cover schools and generally require that such a school be established within that state; Liberty is not, and does not hold itself out as, an umbrella or cover school in any state.
• Liberty does not enroll students residing in Wyoming. Enrollment is not available to families whose residence is in that state. A family that moves to Wyoming during the school year should notify Liberty; the enrollment is wound down under clause 8, with the proportional refund in clause 8.3 where it applies.
• No state endorses this diploma. The State of Wyoming does not confer or endorse diplomas for home-schooled students, and Liberty does not represent otherwise. The diploma and transcript Liberty issues are the documents of a private institution, and clause 10.4 governs whether any third party accepts them.
• Withdrawing from a previous school. Enrolling at LHA does not withdraw a student from another school. Where the student is still enrolled elsewhere, completing that withdrawal is the Signer's responsibility under clause 1.3, and Liberty does not answer for its timing or its consequences.
• Credit earned elsewhere. Clause 10 governs. In short: credit on an official transcript from an accredited school is normally recorded at face value and identified by its origin; credit from a school that is not accredited, from a parent-directed home education program or from a school abroad may require validation before it is recorded; and credit Liberty does not record does not count toward the LHA diploma. Liberty will not present another school's credit as its own on a transcript it issues.
• College athletics. A student who intends to compete in NCAA or NAIA athletics should tell Liberty early. The NCAA Eligibility Center applies its own documentation rules to home-schooled and nontraditional coursework, which are that body's rules and not Liberty's, and Liberty does not warrant any eligibility determination.
• Student records. Liberty is a private institution that does not receive funding under programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education, and is therefore not an educational agency or institution subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Liberty nonetheless treats the student's record as confidential, discloses it only to the Signer, to whomever the Signer authorizes in writing, and where the law requires, and preserves it permanently under clause 13.4.
• Acceptance of LHA credentials. The transcript and diploma Liberty issues are documents of a private school. Whether any college, university, employer, school district or agency accepts them is that institution's decision, under clause 10.4. Liberty makes no representation that any specific institution will accept them.
Once this application is approved you will receive the complete agreement as a PDF, which adds Section I with the student and signer details. That signed PDF is the document that governs.
